Convergence might affect the way audience consume film, it may increase a viewing at a cinema people may enjoy a game produced by the film company and game company so they are more likely to go and watch a film. A child might like a toy produced to promote a film so therefore they will be more likey to also go and watch a film. However it may affect the way audience consume film as more people will watch films online by the internet or on their mobiles so there would be less people going to a cinema to watch a film, they has also been a decrease in lag time between a film’s cinematic and DVD release. They is also an option to download a film online. The internet may also lead to online fan communties.
